Simple CD/DVD Menu
Current version: v1.3.2
home - software - label software
Publisher's description:
Simple CD/DVD Menu is an autorun menu for data CDs and DVDs, mostly useful for software storage and installation. As it's name suggests, it is very simple to use, but it even includes a full tutorial for people who prefer to have a walkthrough.
In addition to running any file type from your menu (executables, documents, videos, etc.), you can also add web and e-mail links. All editing is done in a WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) environment, meaning that as you edit your menu you will see exactly how it will look when it is run from CD/DVD.
You can actually use it as a file menu system for any storage device, such as portable hard drives and USB flash memory drives.
Easily:
Put together shareware compilation CDs/DVDs
Design driver backup discs
Combine many software installation CDs into a single menu
Download it from the Download link and give it a try, it is fully functional without having to register! The only limitation is a registration reminder screen that will pop up whenever you run a menu.
Latest changes: Font, background color, and text color can be changed for Entry List, Description box, and Buttons/Hyperlinks.
Exit button added to main window.
Autoexit option available for individual buttons, which makes entire menu close after button is clicked and executes.
Entry List can automatically change font size to accommodate the widest entry, and adds a horizontal scrollbar if necessary.
New file format, which as a side effect allows double-quote characters (") to be used now. (older version 1.0 menu files will be read and updated automatically to the new format)
"Test Mode" available in Project Manager, to test how a project will look once it has been burned to CD/DVD.
Project Manager now refreshes it's project list every 30 seconds.
The Description of each entry can now also be edited directly in the main window.
The help file has been updated to reflect all of these changes.
bugfix: If you tried to exit a menu after it was run from a CD/DVD which had been removed, it would give an error message.
bugfix: Certain rare menu layouts would not properly detect they had been created by a registered user. File hash code has been rewritten to fix this.
There have been a few other small changes made.
