Active Backup Expert makes backup copies of disk files and stores them in the compact ZIP- compatible format. You can browse files within a backup, open them with a default system editor and so on. Using the "export" and "import" features you can synchronize files on two (or more) PCs. Exporting to a removable media ABP splits large backups onto parts. The ActiveX Automation support gives full access to the ABP power from within your own application.
The Professional includes Active Task Manager and it allows Scheduling the backup creation; Selecting the file locking strategy; Protecting a backup with a password; Support for backing up network files; Selecting files by date, size and attributes; and Storing NTFS file security.
