Conclusion
When I started reviewing this drive, I didn't see much more on offer over existing solutions on the market than a U3 enabled drive. But it's when you start digging deeper with this drive, when you notice that it's different. I'll tell you why I think so in the following paragraphs.
First off is the casing, it's made from LiquidMetal which is remarkable stuff. Consisting of an alloy that is tough like a metal, it possesses the chemical properties of plastics which makes it very durable. The user of the SanDisk Titanium drive really does have best of both worlds. Not only does it look neat, it's tough as nails too. Another impressive feature is the speed of the SanDisk drive. It delivers a constant high speed over a variety of tested file sizes, with even higher burst rates. Coupled with the huge storage space, this is a really good bonus. This drive really has got a lot going for it.
The only thing I have some criticism on is the U3 platform. It's not compatible with all operating systems. You can't really hold that against this drive though or even at U3. The platform is in constant development and it will surely bridge that gap when it comes to it.
