Conclusion
This drive has truly impressed me. I never would imagine such a small drive packing such a fast transfer rate. At first glance, other features aren't apparent; you only see the small size. Of course that view soon changes when you actually start to use it.
With the special SIP packaging the Petito is not only small and fast but also very sturdy and resilient. It can endure low and high temperatures, its water- and shockproof and it can handle static charges well. That means it's not a fragile drive.
So this drive basically covers four good basic selling points in terms of style, size, packaging and speed. Not many drives can pull those points off, but the Petito certainly can. I think, if the pricing is right for this drive, that it might become very popular. It certainly has all the makings to do so.
While trying out the Petito, the only con I was able to find was the availability of the drive. In particular, the drive isn't readily available in Europe. Of course this is only a matter of short time, as the Petito is being introduced in Europe as we speak, this review helps make its presence known too.
