Recording the compilation
Clicking the "next" button from within the audio screen takes you to the recording options window as displayed below.

You can select the output format again, but if you have already done so thru the "settings" option, you can leave it. After inserting the media, the program will automatically recognize available speeds and gives you the option to select them. Set your other options and press "Next" to continue, showing you a summary of the compilation.

Everything seemed to be ok, so clicking next took me to the window where the compiling of the DVD began.
Compiling

This window showed me that it would take 26 minutes to compile. This is quite a bit in my opinion, since I only had 11 minutes of photo's. Then again, I am using a laptop (Pentium M 1.6 GhZ with 1 GB of RAM) so compiling might be a bit quicker on your workstations. My taskmanager showed me that 75%-95% of the CPU was used by PhotoDVD, and 650MB of RAM was in use by this software.
Recording
Recording the compilation went just fine, showing a simple progress bar during the process.

The resulting disc played just fine in any DVD player I could find around the house.
