Conclusion
When I started writing this review, the most I had used from the Nero suite were Nero Burning Rom, Nero InfoTool, Nero CDSpeed and Nero DriveSpeed, but I discovered there's more to Nero then meets the eye and even more so with Nero 7.
I guess because previous Nero consisted out of separate packages, one really doesn't go through all the hassle to complete the package and build a powerful digital content suite that rivals any other.
When I look at the rights you can set on who gets to write or not and catering to a large group of users, ranging from novice to experienced, through the use of wizards and a lot of options. It just seems to me that Nero has gotten even that more professional with this suite.
I've been pleasantly surprised with what Nero has to offer and feel it's like the cake was already good, but now with the icing on top, it's gotten even better. Each program in the suite has gotten more features and all of them combined make for a suite that stands solid as a house.
The only thing that didn't go right yet, were some things pertaining in the installation and updating.
It's nothing really serious as this is the first time they have used the MSI installer with their package, but it did need to be mentioned.
Basically these are kinks that need to be ironed out and usually don't show up until more users install the package.
I'm confident that future updates will straighten out these minor problems.
Having said all this, I think this is an excellent suite to supply you in all your needs for editing, publishing, sharing and writing your digital contents. I would recommend it to all beginning users that want to do something with their digital sources and perhaps tell the more experienced users, which might already have Nero 6, to find out if you can upgrade easily, because it's worth it.
Some of you might wonder about the pros and cons list below and about certain specific features of some of the programs.
This review covers the entire Nero 7 suite, which is very extensive and basically we are giving you a tour of the suite and will go more indepth in reviews to come.
As such the suite doesn't have many cons in this reviewers opinion.
