Usage
The main concept for this software is the template usage for the pressit labels. It's very easy to use. It's merely a tool to get the labels lined up right on paper or rather on the labels. You can place images and text on the labels in any shape, form or size. Using it can be done in the following easy steps, choose the right label template, make sure it's the right size, edit the template to your desire, calibrate the printer for the label and print! That's all there is to it. Pretty easy, isn't it?
Labels include not only CDs/DVDs but also mini-CDs, VHS tapes, Jazz tapes, audio tapes and many more. Basically all labels you can buy for this program are covered. You can also adjust the paper size according to what you use; the choices are A4 and letter sizes.
One thing I have noticed about the program is that it doesn't have any settings you need to set, just choices for paper size and label layout. You don't have to setup anything more after installing it. That's really easy for users. Of course this presented a small problem on my end of the program. I chose to install this program in English, which it did, but when I started the program it got compiled using the regional settings I have on my machine. Basically it ran using the Dutch language. I've spoken to the manufacturer about this and they told me they are aware of the problem, but they don't have solution for it right now, other then changing the regional settings. That's not really an option in many cases. You may have notice I used the word compiled in the other paragraph, that's because the program is built on Java. This means that it pretty much can be platform indepedent, because most operating systems can compile Java, you could even run this program from the web if they set it up right. Couple that with the fact it's free and you have a strong selling point to use this program.
