Editing the DVD content
It's
wise to browse through the DVD beforehand to preview the
DVD content. This way you can make notes as to what you
would like to modify within the DVD so that you can find
them in DRM. Basically on this DVD I chose to remove the
warnings, the countless Disney logo's and adverts along
with a few of the less interesting extras along with a
few of the soundtracks. The DVD also contained Hebrew
language menu's which also required removal. It also contained
a language selection screen at the beginning of the DVD
which not only needed removal but needed to be modified
to auto select the English menu's
By clicking on each of the VTS I could soon see which
VTS contained the video I wanted to edit. VTS 1 contained
the warnings, VTS 2 & 5 contained Disney logos and VTS
contained all the adverts. What I also noticed was that
in the Video Manager Menu's, PGC 6 was 636mb in size
yet the video contained no images. It was a dummy file
that wasted precious space!
to remove the unwanted video is rather simple. All
you need to do is right click and you can hide anything
from a single block to a complete VTS using the Hide
all Blocks option. As all the blocks in this PGC required
hiding I right clicked the Program Chains (highlighted
in dark blue below) and then selected Hide all blocks

After hiding the blocks you can see which blocks have
been edited and that they are all blank now as the previews
are all black and have a playback of 00:00:00.12

the same process was used for VTS 2 and 5. PGC 6 in
the Video Manager was also hidden and that shrank is
size from 636mb to 0.13mb. If you remove any video then
the audio and subtitles for any of that video is also
removed. This is the simplest and fastest way to blank
out unwanted video and can take minutes to do if this
is all that is required
