Installation and Usage
Installation has changed since v 1.01 and now is a standard install as with most software. A few clicks and installation is complete.

Once the software is started, the DVD2one Audio Remaster configuration screen is shown where either you may use the trial version or obtain a license to unlock the full features of the software.
Scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking on the 'next' icon enables configuration of the project:

Video Mode : Select either PAL or NTSC depending on your TV setup
On Disk Insert : Here you can decide wether the created songs will be played automatically uon insertion or not.
Use Harware Acceleration : Decide wether or not to use HArdware acceleration depending on your hardware.
Volume name : The name that will appear when the created DVD is placed in a standalone DVD player.
Destination directory : Where on your computers hard drive the create files will be stored prior to recording.
Burn with CopyToDVD : The choose of wether or not to use VSO Softwares popular CopyToDVD software to record your created project to DVD.
Full instructions on how to use the interface can be obtained from the
DVD2one Audio Remaster Website, but it is has become a very easy and straight forward process to add the folders containing wav files you extracted earlier to a
DVD2one Audio Remaster compilation, and within a couple of minutes all the required settings had been chosen and the program was ready to process.
The new GUI was a lot easier to navigate then earlier versions, and the author must be applauded for this.

For this review 4 albums where extracted from CD to the recommend wav format for loading into DVD2one Audio Remaster. DVD2one Audio Remaster does not work direct from Audio CD, has the author states quality extraction sofware is all ready available to use. CDeX was used to tag the files in the suggested Artist and Album names.
(for reference, in CDeX this is "%1 - %2\%7 %4").
You could of course, use the highly recommended Exact Audio Copy if you need good error correction. For future reference the total filesize of the extracted files was noted at 2.01 GB before they where loaded into DVD2one Audio Remaster. The encoding mode used was PCM, with a sample rate of 48 @ 24 bits per sample, using the most compliant Video stream mode 'Full stream'. This would assure the best quality output possible.

The process took only 21 minutes to resample my wav files to a DVD2one Audio
Remaster DVD using the options stated earlier, and the completed DVD totalled 3.65 GB. At this point if the 'Burn with CopyToDVD' option had been selected and CopyToDVD was present on the computer, then it would be automatically recorded for playback in a standalone/PC DVD player.
Another point worth mentioning is that now that
DVD2one Audio Remaster contains an installer,it might well be possible to use it from within the 'Manage Audio' section of the new CopyToDVD 3 central Hub. We will inform you if this indeed become a reality.
