Conclusion
At first glance the software does its name proud, 1 Click.
This means that novices will find this program very easy to use, simply because there aren't that much controls to setup.
The flip side of that is that advanced user or control freaks, like me, can't delve into the settings to fine tune the setup.
So you can see this is both a pro and a con.
As usual the support is really good at LG Software Innovations.
They feature quick and professional responses through email and have support through a dedicated forum.
Should you encounter any problems, you can rest assure that the problem can be dealt with rapidly.
One thing that slightly annoys me is the use of Sonic's burning engine/layer.
Sonic installs these filters, which have the potential to give users problems with accessing their CD/DVD drives.
It's installed by Winamp at default, but that is an older version.
This means that users using an older version of this filter can run into trouble.
Luckily this version updates the filter to a more recent version, eliminating potential problems.
Converting certain AVI files to DVD didn't work.
I've mentioned this with the testing as well, it's down to the codec used to code the movie with and DivxToDVD simply doesn't have licenses for all the codec's out there. If they did the price for the program would just sky rocket.
DivxToDVD places a link on the DVD that automatically plays when you put the DVD in a computer.
It will guide you to an online link to the OpenDVD project, which allows you to create menus.
This is part of Sonic software though, which means you need additional software, with additional extra costs.
So you don't get any menus standard, you have to put some time and effort in to get that working.
