In these tests the software used for all the recording where CopyToDVD 3 and DVD Decrypter.
VSO softwares new Media information utility - VSO Inspector was used for gathering our information about the inserted media, DVDInfoPro and CDCheck, were used to check the recorded DVD for errors and compare the recordered files against the original ones.The hardware used was the Pioneer 107 XLB.
As the screenshot below from VSO Inspector shows, the Media Code/Manufacturer ID of RITEK G05 which is proof that it manufactured with the new genration 5 dye from Ritek capable of 8X recording on compatable drives.

Available burning speeds in our Pioneer 107 XLB showed 1x, 2x, 4x, 6x, and 8x CLV recording available for this single layer recordable media.
Capacity of the disc was 4.38 GB and compatability problems should not be present with both PC and newer standalone DVD Players.Ritek boast one of the most compatible recording dyes on the market at the moment.
