Playback Tests
Playback Tests:
The recorded Traxdata 16x DVD+R media was tested to see if it would be recognised in various PC DVD Writers and DVD ROMS, as well as a selection of home standalone DVD players and the Sony GX3 home DVD Recorder as well as a couple of popular games consoles capable of reading DVD media.
The BENQ 1620 allows for the changing of media Book types and by changing the Book type of the DVD+R media to that of DVD-ROM, better playback should be observed with standalone players that would not normally play DVD+R media without issues such as skipping bad recognition or pixelation.
Every PC device we tried the Traxdata 16 DVD+R media media in recognised the media without problem. Also both our tested games consoles had no isue with the media either although we note that X-Box version 1.4 will not play this media unless the booktype was changed.
