In this review we get to look at the PHILIPS branded 8x DVD+R media with a MID ID Code of RICOHJPN R02-03.
NOTE: Philips use many manufacturers to make their media besides RICOH - please check carefully what the media ID of the media is before buying if as you wont always get RICOH based media.

The software we used to carry out the recording of this media consisted of Nero CD Speed and
Nero Burning ROM from Ahead software as well as the freely available DVD Decrypter from Lightning UK.
VSO Inspector was used for gathering our information about the inserted media, and the hardware used consisted of both the NEC 3500AG and Pioneer DVR 108 DVD+/-RW D/L drives for recording and the Liteon 1633S for scanning the media with CDSpeed and KProbe.
