Playback Tests
The recorded Traxdata 8x DVD+R media was tested to see if it would be recognised in various PC DVD Writers and DVD ROMS, as well as a selection of home standalone DVD players and the Sony GX3 home DVD Recorder. This should give us a very good indication to the compatibility across a wide range of DVD playback devices.
The BenQ DW 1620A allows for the changing of media Book types and by changing the Book type of the DVD+R media to that of DVD-ROM, better playback should be observed with standalone players that would not normally play DVD+R media.
Every PC device we tried the Traxdata 8x DVD+R media media in recognised the media without problem. The Traxdata 8x DVD+R media is recommended for use in all our tested playback devices.
