CDR-Zone.COM recording tests where used to test the 8x DVD+R Media at the maximum rated recording speed of both the rated 8x in the NEC 3500AG and an overspeed of 12x with the Pioneer DVR 108.
CD Speed from Ahead Software's Record Test CD feature was used to record a Data DVDs with both review hardware at different the mentioned speeds, ensuring the maximum amount of data was recorded to the media.
The entire process should take around 9 - 10 minutes minutes to record the maximum amount possible at its maximum rated speed of 8x in the NEC 3500AG and around 7 minutes to record at an overspeed of 12x with the Pioneer DVR 108.
