Traxdata have informed us about a new portable USB 2 storage device they are releasing called the "EZ Drive 2.0". With upto 1GB storage capacity, the EZ Drive takes away the need for the consumer to carry their CDRW Drive around in an external bay to backup data, - just plug the EZ Drive into a USB port and copy the information. " Traxdata, a brand leader in digital media, has launched the innovative EZ Drive 2.0.This security conscious, lockable memory stick has a simple one-piece slide mechanism to protect data stored and features an energy-saving mode, security password and lock-writing options. The device has been specifically designed for the storage of data, images, music and video and is able to store this data for up to 10 years.
The EZ Drive 2.0 is the only portable storage device to have a slide-out USB interface port and is available in models ranging in storage capacity from 128MB up to 1GB. The high quality of the EZ Drive package would not be complete without high speed performance and here the device does not disappoint. Speeds of approx. 6MB/sec writing and 8MB/sec reading can be achieved with a data transfer rate of 480mbps.
