TDK releases indiDVD 8x dual format DVD recorder

CDR-Info have news about a new dual format DVD burner from TDK. The drive offers 8X recording for both the plus and minus versions of the DVD recordable disc.
"The latest DVD recorder of TDK, the IndiDVD (880N) has been officially announced by the company. The IndiDVD 8x+/8x- Multiformat offers 8x recording speeds for both DVD+R and DVD-R media.
The new Indi DVD records a complete 4.7GB DVD+R or DVD-R disc in only 8 minutes. And with 32x CD recording, it burns a full CD-R in under 4 minutes.
Indi DVD includes a host of progressive features that guarantee unrivaled performance. Superior quietness (<45 dB acoustic noise) and a durable mechanism (certified to 20,000 cycles) make Indi DVD ideal for project environments, while automatic recording mode selection (PCAV or 7-step Z-CLV) ensures perfect recordings."
