Plextor launches PlexTools Professional HDD

Plextor Europe has announced a new version of its PlexTools software. PTP HDD includes new features that will appeal to many users of the Plextor Portable Harddisk devices.

By offering a secure password protection function to deny unauthorised access of the hard disk drive, PTP HDD protects your private data that is stored on the portable HDD.

Additional some diagnostic functions are available to test the Read Speed and Random Access time on your hard disks.

In order to accomodate the customer in his own language, several language packs are available for download.

Availability

PlexTools Professional HDD V3.09 is available for free at www.plextools.com since May 2006.
