It's review time again at CDR-Zone.COM and this time I get to take a look at the Plextor 16x DVD-R media using a Taiyo Yuden dye code. With special thanks to SVP for sending me the media used in this review.
A couple of months back I got the chance to review the Plextor 16x DVD+R media from Plextor. It also uses the same manufacturer and dye code as the Miflop 16x DVD-R media I got to review just before christmas of 2005. I found it to be of a decent quality and so when SVP communications offered me the chance to review the new 16x DVD-R version from Plextor the only answer was yes! So I have some reference material to compare this latest offering from Plextor against. Has the same been achieved on a consistent level or better/worse with all the review recording devices? Is this media to be cherished or stayed away from? All are questions that I can answer
hopefully during this review as I test drive Plextors 16x DVD-R media.".
