About PgcEdit:
PgcEdit is a DVD IFO editor designed to allow the modification of the navigation commands and parameters of an already authored DVD structure.
It is designed to supplement IfoEdit.
PgcEdit is free and open source (GPL license).
Changelog, v 0.3.4:
The menu buttons information is now also available for Linux users. Also, there is now a wrapped, standalone version for Linux users.
The homepage has changed, too. I have added some links, and there is now a GUI to be notified when the page changes (seems to be really SPAM proof.)
Documentation:
Installation of PgcEdit:
PgcEdit is written in Tcl/Tk. Tcl/Tk is an interpreted scripting language. It is therefore necessary in theory to have a Tcl/Tk interpreter to use PgcEdit. Windows does not have such an interpreter.
PgcEdit.exe is an executable containing the Tcl/Tk interpreter and its libraries, as well as scripts constituting the Tcl/Tk application. It is not an installer.
Installation of PgcEdit.exe: (under Windows):
To install PgcEdit, simply copy PgcEdit.exe in a folder of your choice, such as "C:\Program Files\PgcEdit\", or in the same folder as IfoEdit.exe, with which it cohabits very well.
Then, launch PgcEdit.exe and see the Options/Install menu: it allow to automatically create the shortcuts and the files associations.
Installation of the sources (under Linux, Mac or Windows):
If you wish to use PgcEdit under Linux or Mac, or if you wish to install a Tcl/Tk interpreter under Windows, you will have to make sure that you have Tcl/Tk version 8.4 (or more). You must then install the sources of the script. The Options/Install menu will not be present, and you will have to make the installation manually.
Note that PgcEdit was only coarsely tested under Linux, and not at all under Mac. It should however run without problems.
The sources of PgcEdit are contained in PgcEdit.exe (in the folder PGCEDIT), and can be extracted with an unzip program, such as WinZip. You may also download the source files alone.
