 Nero CD-DVD Speed is a CD-ROM benchmark which can test the most important features of a CD-ROM drive: Transfer rate, Seek times, CPU usage, Burst rate, DAE quality, Transfer rate, Spinup/spindown time.
Changes in current version:
Disc Quality Test:Added support for AOpen DVD1648/AAP, AOpen 48x and 52x Combo drives and drives with a Ricoh chipset (click here for a detailed list).
Added option to show Disc Type or Book Type on main screen
Improved reading type detection
Improved write performance for external USB drives
Many small improvements and bug fixes
