Forbes publishes yet another story on "HD-DVD vs. Blu-ray". Last few weeks there have been several reports that negotiations have stranded, but just as many that they've restarted. This time it seems like they've restarted negotion, both camps are sending senior officials to the negotiating table for a top-down approach.
For the full article, please visit Forbes. Personally, I dont think there ever will be a unification between HD-DVD and Blu-ray. The fact that both camps are sitting down for negotiations however, is a good thing. Perhaps this will prevent a similair thing from happening in the future.
Update: The register reports that Sony Computer Entertainment president Ken Kutaragi admitted that there will be no meeting, so a unified format is off the table. We've heard this before, and we wont know for sure until the dust settles down.
