Besides AnyDVD, there is other software available that is able to let you make backups on the fly. DVD Region-Free supports programs such as DVDFab, DVD2One, Pinnacle InstantCopy, DVD Shrink and Nero Recode. During reading the software decrypts the DVD copy protection (CSS) on the fly reducing the time you need to make a DVD backup (because you no longer have to decrypt it to the hard drive first).
