A couple of weeks back, we told you about a new encoding software to be released from Plextor. Now we have some more detailed information to give you about the features of Plextors ConvertX.
Record longer than ever before :
ConvertX offers the unique choice of three encoding formats: MPEG-1, for recording one hour of premier quality video on a VCD; MPEG-2, for up to two hours of high quality video on a DVD; and, for exceptional hard disc space-savings, MPEG-4. Capable of creating highly compressed video archives, MPEG-4 can be used to store 100 minutes of video on a standard CD or 10 hours on a DVD. A Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connection maximizes data throughput to the host computer, enabling high bit rate video capture using MPEG-2 compression.
Produce professional-looking, personalized CDs or DVDs for friends and family:
ConvertX comes with a powerful and easy-to-use WinDVD Creator™ software from InterVideo®. Based on the popular WinDVD player and WinDVD Creator products from InterVideo, the software guides you through each step for capturing and editing video, adding effects, and burning the finished product.
One click is all it takes to pull in video from a camcorder or another analog source. You can create CDs or DVDs without spending all day learning complicated programs. WinDVD Creator's storyboard interface makes the entire DVD-making process as easy as moving pictures around on a computer screen. Create a CD or DVD in four easy steps: capture, edit, author and share.
With the support to help ensure picture-perfect results:
You’ll get all the advantages of the world’s first hardware Full-D1 MPEG-4 encoder, backed by unlimited toll-free technical support and one-year full warranty from a leading provider of high-performance digital media, Plextor.
