Elaborate Bytes, or Elby for short has finally revealed more information about CloneDVD. During Cebit we already saw some screenshots of CloneDVD which will enable users to make backups of DVD movies. The software is a transcoder and burning tool in one. One of the nicest features of CloneDVD is probably the user interface of the software, which looks like a movie and scrolls you trough the options.

Planned Features:

Extracts, transcodes and writes one or all Video Titles to one recordable DVD; different use-cases like Гreate DVD Image" or Гreate DVD Files" can be selected separately
Uses high-quality transcoding technology
EXTRA CRUNCHY: Crunches your personal choice of Video Titles with your selected Audio, -
Angle- and Subtitle Streams to one DVD recordable
Video-Preview while selecting the Video Titles and while transcoding
Automatically adapts the selected data to the size of the DVD recordable
Image Quality: With an average selection of streams you will not notice a difference in
comparison to the original. No block-artefacts.
Preferences: Memorizes the last settings that were made by the user and proposes it the next time the program starts.
Works with most hardware- and software DVD players
Writes on DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW
Very easy to use
