CDRoller is a powerful, easy-to-use and low-cost toolset for CD data recovery.
CDRoller supports industry-standard ISO 9660 file system, including Microsoft's extensions for long file names support, so-called Joliet extensions. CDRoller also supports the discs formatted in UDF file system, including versions 1.02, 1.50, 2.0, 2.01 and also so-called UDF Bridge format.
Changelog v4.32:
MRW reader is released. This may be useful if your CD/DVD-R/RW drive does not support reading of "Mt. Rainier" CD-RWs (CD-MRWs). Also, we recommend you use built-in MRW reader to read CD inserted into CD-MRW drive if the disk was not closed by cd mastering program. For example, if the writing process was interrupted by a system or power failure.
"Forced scan" option of Scan UDF Disc is significantly updated. This may be useful if UDF disk was incorrectly finalized, or/and the system data are not accessible at all. For example, this problem is often happen on Sony Mavica CD finalized with failure on the camera.
ISO Reader updated. Now, you can try a different settings on ISO Reader page in the Preferences dialog to access the files on ISO 9660 disk. For example, you can try to read an alternative type(s) of Path Table(s), apply forced scan of all directories, bypassing Joliet part of cd directory structure.
Support of PacketCD disks is released. If you have a number of data CDs formatted with CeQuadrat's PacketCD under Windows 9x, and now these disks seem to be unreadable after upgrade to Windows XP, try to use CDRoller to retrieve a valuable cd files.
Minor bugs fixed.
