VSO software is beginning the Beta testing for Blindwrite 5. Available to registered members only at first. The beta test has begun, and people who want to receive the first beta version will automatically receive a notification if they subscribed to the newsletter option offered by ShareIt during their registration.
What will be new in this version 5:
- new interface (merged, new graphic style, theme support...)
- rewritten and optimized engine for reading and writing
- automatic and default settings (anyone will be able to backup without any experience of the media content)
- DVD support
- new image file format to handle more features, now and in the future.
According to the VSO webpage, every user who registers today will receive the new version for free.
Blindwrite does not only write images created by Blindread, but also ISO files. Also 1:1 audio CD copying and better handling of protected audio cds is now implemented.
If you backup a CD which is already known, Internet Live Assistance can help you choosing the correct read and write parameters to avoid coasters. If you need to abort a CD reading process, you can resume it anytime, as long as you don't delete the partial image file.
