Bitburners test press samples of Traxdata 4x Dual Layer media

Hot on the back of our press release about the new line of Traxdata 4x DVD-R Dual Layer media our friends over at Bitburners have had the chance to take a quick look at some pre release samples. They also show some results from their tests on the Datawrite DVD-R 16x Printable media.
Early signs show poor writer support with none of the tested writers attaining a 4x recording speed and some very curious results with the Liteon 1693 whcih could be put down to media support from the firmware. The reported error rates are quite high but bitburners report that they are working fine in their tested DVD playback devices.
We will find out more ourselves soon when we take up the offer to review the offical batches and wil keep you updated.
