Audiotools is a direct-to-disk recording tool with the facility to automatically split a recording into tracks. It can split a recording into separate tracks, either by silence detection or under manual control. Any recordings which are already on your hard-disk can be automatically split or "auditioned" to manually split them. This is considerably faster than a graphical approach and can be happily left unattended in "auto-track" mode.
Changes between versions 4.40 interim 6 and 4.40 interim 7:
The File browser/file report has been accelerated
You can now specify when an MP3 stream is "band-limited"
An edit button has been added to both the chunks and fuzzy chunks dialog to allow the adjustment of chunk lengths
The default number of iterations on fixed chunks has been changed from 0 (infinite) to 1
you can now specify a download directory on the Internet tab of Application Preferences and enable an option to retain updates downloaded from the Internet using "Check for updates"
"Base destination filenames on source" on the file list dialog would remain greyed out if batch processing was automatically selected (I.e. by changing the "dealings" option to "retain separate formats") - Fixed Features | Buy Online | Download Beta | Website
