Audiotools is a direct-to-disk recording tool with the facility to automatically split a recording into tracks. It can split a recording into separate tracks, either by silence detection or under manual control. Any recordings which are already on your hard-disk can be automatically split or "auditioned" to manually split them. This is considerably faster than a graphical approach and can be happily left unattended in "auto-track" mode.
Changes between versions 4.50 and 4.50 interim 1
The stop on silence plugin had no effect when a minimum track length was specified on the auto-track dialog. This has now been fixed.
Normalize can now use CSF silence detection when "Amplify Silence" is enabled.
The log dialog has been overhauled to be slicker and slightly more flexible.
The -p command line option can now take either the index (1..n) or the name of the desired profile.
The registration limitations have been revised. You now get seven days of unlimited trial before the ten minute limit is enforced. This allows you a fair trial of the software, but means that the program doesn't lock you out entirely if you're still evaluating after a week.
You are now invited to give feedback when you uninstall Audiotools. Features | Buy Online | Download Beta | Website
