Today’s release of AnyDVD Version 5.9.5.6 allows you to remove the
"Macrovision CDS-300" copy protection. CDS-300 is only to be found
on audio CDs and permanently installs itself on Windows operating
systems, very similar to the 'Root Kit' (XCP) from Sony. AnyDVD not
only removes this copy restriction, it also prevents the installation
of similar unwanted copy protection drivers.
AnyDVD removes copy protections transparently in the background. To
the operating system and all software applications the copy protected
CD appears as a "Red-Bood standard" compliant audio CD without any
copy protection. All common software applications can be used for
playback or transfer to portable music devices. Making backup copies
(e.g. for use in your car audio system) is also possible, without
any problems.
Giancarlo Bettini, CEO of SlySoft, points out the special features for
audio CDs from AnyDVD: "Most customers don't even know, that AnyDVD not
just deals with movie DVDs, it also removes basically all copy
restrictions of audio CDs. Furthermore, it protects your operating
system from the installation of unwanted drivers like the Sony 'Root Kit'
or Settec Alpha-DVD. Therefore we recommend our customers to activate
AnyDVD at all times."
About AnyDVD:
AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy
protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive,
allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such
as CloneDVD and CloneDVD mobile. You can also remove the RPC region
code, thereby making the movie region free and viewable on any
DVD player and with any DVD player software.
But AnyDVD doesn't just stop at DVDs. It also decrypts protected
audio CDs to allow you to copy them.
Originally developed by Elaborate Bytes, AnyDVD was acquired by
SlySoft in 2003 and has been downloaded more than 15 Million
times ...
