ADS Tech unveiled PYRO® A/V Link™ DVD Edition, a complete digital video hardware/software suite for professionals, businesses and prosumers. PYRO A/V Link DVD Edition is a fully integrated suite of modules that includes everything they need for capturing, video editing , audio editing, CG graphics, video painting and DVD authoring right out of the box. Packed with value, It combines the world's best selling OHCI-compliant 1394/FireWire® card and ADS Tech’s 1394/Firewire-based Analog/Digital Video (DV) converter with the full versions of Ulead® Media Studio Pro ™ 7, Ulead HD Plug-in 2 and Ulead DVD Workshop™ 2.0.

PYRO A/V Link DVD Edition will appeal to corporate video producers, event videographers, educators, and dedicated hobbyists who want the best value and the best products for creating broadcast-quality event, marketing and training videos but do not want the hassle of having to resolve hardware/software compatibility problems. With PYRO A/V Link DVD Edition, video can be captured from any DV Camcorder or DV Deck, an analog VCR or an analog camcorder --even the new HDV camcorders . This gives users the flexibility to integrate content from other video sources such as VHS, S-VHS, Hi-8, Digi-Beta, etc. into their projects.

The Ulead software included with the new PYRO bundle complements these features, enabling users to edit and transcode across formats. The robust yet intuitive software offers sophisticated tools for complex menu navigation, multiple subtitles, and multiple audio tracks with Dolby® Digital AC-3 encoding, encryption and region coding.

The plug-in combines with MediaStudio Pro 7 to provide users of the new HD (High Definition Video) camcorders with a full-featured, all-in-one HDV editing solution.
