This newspost is a full press release and has not been modified by our team of editors. 22 August - The Rimage Corporation has launched its first desktop CD/DVD publishing model - the Rimage 360i - into the UK market. The new model delivers huge cost and time savings to the UK SME market, as well as the quality production of Rimage’s high-capacity corporate machines.
With many SMEs spending thousands of pounds each year on CD burning and labelling, the Rimage 360i can offer even moderate users substantial savings. A survey of ten London copy houses revealed that to have 25 CDs burned and labelled would cost an average of £120, all with a turnaround of 24 hours. If a business does this once a week each year, the cost is £6,240.
The Rimage 360i, with a list price of £1595, can burn and label 25 CDs or DVDs an hour, and is compact enough to sit easily on a desk, so is perfect for any small business with a need for high quality disc production.
As well as delivering costs savings, the Rimage 360i’s ease of use means it gives saves time as well. The user can insert up to 25 CDs and then leave the machine, so is free to get on with other tasks whilst the CDs are burned and the labels printed automatically. The free software package Quick Disk allows for a simple and precise process. Simply ‘Create, Burn and Print’, and your CD production will have begun.
“For promotional, marketing and sales presentations, professional photographers, recording studios making CDs for upcoming bands or indeed for any business with a need for professional looking CDs or DVDs, the Rimage 360i is the perfect solution,” said Graeme Dawson, UK country manager, Rimage. “Copy houses have been charging too much for too long, and Rimage’s cost savings, ease-of-use and speed and quality of results mean that the stress is taken out of disc publishing and printing.”

The Rimage 360i offers the best in both printing and recording technology. For printing it uses HP’s Photo Ret IV technology that delivers 3 pico-liter sized ink droplets that ensures premium quality and economy in direct-to-disc printing, whilst also offering 4800 dpi printing and a full colour spectrum of 16.7 million colours. The CD/DVD recorder technology delivers best-in-class16X DVD recording as well as top-speed 48X CD recording.
The Rimage 360i is compatible with both Windows and Mac, and is distributed with all burning/labelling software. 2GB of sustainable free space is required for the software to function properly.
