Introduction
I never really bothered to burn my photos to DVD, since I spend quite a bit of time behind my PC where I have all my pictures stored. Of course, there’s a backup lying around somewhere in case of a hard disk crash.
My family came around yesterday. They were all really interested in a set of photos I recently took. Since there were eight of us, it was far too crowded to cuddle up behind the monitor. They had to stand, couldn’t see the images very well, and lost interest. This is when I wished I had burnt the photos to a DVD and present them with a slideshow on my TV instead.
CDR-Zone has been about recording software, including photo dvd software. So I went through our own software archive and spotted VSO’s PhotoDVD. I have posted many software updates, and SirQUK has reviewed an old version of this application, but I have never really tried the software, so that’s what I’ll be doing on this rainy Saturday.
It’s photo to dvd time!
