I don't remember which method I used a month ago (RipIt4Me or Dvd95Copy) but it didn't work right.
I never watched it, but a friend did and said it skipped ahead a chapter at some point and he couldn't go back and review that part, or if he could, it was difficult tracking backward.
I'm in process of trying again (RipIt4Me), taking out the < > from my destination drive and used the "1-Click" mode (which normally I Never use) and checked the box "Make DVD jump to Menu upon insertion". You will have to be patient in 2 different process areas doing all this.
Does Dvd95Copy have a problem with this? It showed 3 different main titles so I didn't use it.
The reason I ask is that I don't always have time to watch my back-up copy and rely on application faults to let me know if the copy was a success.

I used DVD95Copy in full disc mode with whatever the latest version was at the time I was using it (I always check this) and it worked fine, got a great copy of this title.
I almost always use DVD95Copy only with no other dvd associated programs running (actively or in background or loaded on startup) and I very seldom end up having major problems with any title. Once in a while there will be some minor issues with a movie (see my 'We Own The Night' thread) but it is VERY seldom that a movie comes out that DVD95Copy just can't handle at all. And if this does ever happen, it is usually addressed by digi with a new version update in less than a week, sometimes the next day.
dinkie will be the first one to tell you that whenever someone is here saying that a certain movie is giving them trouble when just about everyone else has no trouble at all, a common thread seems to be that the person having the problems is using other side-programs running either with or in addition to DVD95Copy. (Like RipIt4ME, AnyDVD, etc) dinkie is the one who told me when I was doing the same thing, stop running these programs and just run 95Copy alone and ever since then I've had a much better success rate getting excellent copies or with very minor issues (as in 'We Own The Night' thread.)
Also, try to get into the habit of always checking to see if you have the most updated version that's out prior to using the program. Most of the time when I've had problems I have discovered that I was one or two updates behind and as soon as I updated it worked fine. If the movie is a brand new dvd release you may have to wait until digi moves one step ahead again but this usually never takes long, as mentioned above.
I think if you try to follow some of the advice here, you will have a much more positive experience using DVD95Copy by itself. And your first-time success rate will go way up. It really is a very good program. Have a good night.

That was realllly well put, and thanks for not flaming me.
As you stated, and was true - I was 5 revisions behind, which caused me to see the multiple large vobs.
With listing/bullets and a few changes, maybe that could be made into a help stickie - or is this a small audience?
Which brings me to another question. My greatest fear is this program's disappearance; The other programs which i use (3 of them), the authors have All been silenced due to threat of lawsuit, LightningUK being the first.
Is it better to ask as little as possible here to keep attention lower?
Better to keep the questions confined specifically to this product only?

Hey Sevin
I've personally been using this program for almost 3 years now. Digi has gone through some grief and had to relocate this site a coupleof times, but he's always come back as strong as ever. He is very dertmined to keep this going so I'm not too worried about it disappearing.
As for the forums, well that's what they're for, to help anyone that has a question. And they are a great group of people here, always willing to help out. Dinkie has been around for quite a while as well as jw062. I haven't yet come across anything these folks can't help with.
if you get errors with a rip/burn, and have already made sure you have the most up to date veriosn of 95copy you can alwyas send a sopy of the log file to Digi. Just right click on the program icon on the task bar and you will see the "send log file" option. Anything like that will help in getting things resolved.

Ive been using this program for a long time... over 4 years... and seldom have errors, and I like other stated before me use this program alone.
Having said that, there is occasionally a recurring bug that occurs when you do a movie only backup (I hate the extra features, and I only have express). For this title I had a similar issue that was previously described in this thread. To reitterate:
Title starts on the beach scene and runs through to some point then skips ahead to near the end. When you try to change chapters it only allows you to goto 2 chapters total, one being the beach scene, and the later being something else (i forget already).
To fix this problem, I remade the IFO files using an archaic, yet effective, program called IFOedit.
I have attached the IFO files (good and bad) for Digi to take a gander at. I have also had this problem with other titles recently (again this is "movie only" mode on Express), and I will add the IFO files individually to the treads for that movie.
