Hi
Something strange. I have quite a few original dvd movies.
I found that 3 of from same movie company, namely Paramount has the following error.
After movie playback it enter main menu as It should, but after about 60 secs, I believe it was supposed to resume movie playback all over again like all other Paramound releases. Instead it simply crashes??
To me it seems that it tries to playback a cell in VMG PG3 which isn't there, but I could be mistaken.
The commands are exactly the same as on orginal dvd, and btw. that orginal also crashes.
Anyone?? Thanx in advance (Files are below)

Don't see anything wrong. The main menu is looping indefinitely, so I see no reason why it should crash. And there is no cell in VMG PGC 3. Are you uploading the correct files? |

The files are the right ones. Please try a playback in a software player, after menu has played for the defined 60 seconds it crashes.
It seems that the post commands in menu pgc 11 leads to VMG PGC2 after playing the menu for 60 seconds. I think its from there it goes all wrong in the structure.
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but it does crash |

My mistake, I was looking at your old test folder. Forgot to extract it.
You're right, it does "crash". Actually, it just stops playing as it reaches a dead end - there's nowhere else to go. After the menu plays for 60 sec, it jumps to VMG PGC2, which then is redirected to VTS3, then back to VTS1 menu domain, and finally stops at menu PGC 156 - a dead end.
Since you like to play the movie again after the 60 sec, in menu PGC 11, change line 2 post-command to R[12]=257. |

Sorry to interfere
I downloaded the file from post 217, just to try running it in Remake debug and it does not play at all.
If you press Play button in main menu you end up at pre-command of VTS1-Title/PGC1 and that redirect to WMG-PGC7 from there back to main menu.
Even if you can get to any other line in Title/PGC1 pre-command, at best you end up starting at Program2 of the title.
If you do nothing in main menu, after 60 sec you end up at VTS1-Menu/PGC156= dead end (NOP command=crash).
From the start you go through VTS1-Menu/PGC10, it has pre-command, highlight button5, so I assume there are 5 buttons but cell is blanked. Somehow I have a feeling that that one is important.
Can you shed some light on this, I am just curious. |

@Toaddub, your fix worked great, and the dvd acts exactly as it should now, thanx
@Senior: Thanx for your input, you might be right, but due to a already posted and working solution I did not test if you are right. But again thanx for your point of view. Always glad for the interest in my issues. |

That's why you see the post-command being appended to the pre-commands, and any Break command is changed to goto command.
