I am trying to convert an .avi file to dvd, but I keep getting an ".avi is unsupported/ or not A/V file?
Now I have used this before on my main PC using XP without a hitch. Now I bought a new laptop with a dvd burner, and I wanted to see if it would work. The laptop has Vista installed(UGGH!) 32 bit. I'm not sure if this is the problem or if it is a special codec I have to install?
I have installed 2 codecs for it to work properly on my WMP11. They were ffdshow and xvid codecs. The .avi plays in my WMP11, but is not being recognized by VSO.
BTW I am using the trial version, but I do not think this is the problem. |
