I'm using DVDRemake to split my DVD into two disks. The first disk will contain the menus...Is there a way to hide the menus on the second disk so that the movie will just start where it left off?
Right now without menus the second disk won't play at all, just hangs.

I'm not sure if you're using the Basic or Pro version, but you can right-click on the Play movie button in the Preview window and select 'Bypass menu'. This will automatically hides the menu, simulates the Play button, and starts the movie.

Actually there's one more question. Is it possible to bypass the menu on the second disc but have it so you can still go to it in order to access the commentaries on the bonus features?
And I'm using the Pro version.

This requires changing the navigation a little bit. The blunt way is to insert a pre-command Jump VMG Title #, where # will jump to the movie, at line 1 of First Play PGC. Note that this method works most of the time. On some DVDs, this may have undesired effect.

The proper way is to trace through the navigation and alter some commands where appropriate. This requires knowledge of VM commands to be able to do so. Without the files, I can't be of much help. However, you probably can do this on your own using another software, PgcEdit. It has a macro to do this for you. Here's the GUIDE.
