|
|
Hello! I have the latest demo version of DVDReMake and on some DVDs (only on some!, not all) I get this error (in the log) and I can't add the DVD to the project.
| Code: |
Read DVD from: C:\Documents and Settings\Adrian\Desktop\Grecia20071\VIDEO_TS
Read VMG
Read VTS1
VTS: error reading streams attributes (851:VTS.cpp)
can't load VTS 1 |
Any idea what it could be?

| Probably something wrong with the source. What ripper do you use? Try to rerip again using the latest version of the ripper.

| It's a home made video... with a Sony video camera DVD405E... I tried both copy paste on HDD and directly importing the DVD... don't work!

| Download this NavPack Extractor, run it, zip up the extracted files, and upload here if possible else upload to somewhere. I'll take a look.

| Somehow your Sony video camera defines the subpicture streams to be 200, which is illegal, in the VTS 1. Check your camera settings and the manual on how to fix it. For now, you can change the subpic stream to 1 in the VIDEOS_TS.IFO and VTS_01_0.IFO using IfoEdit, or just import into PgcEdit and let it automatically fix it for you. Then you will have no problem importing in DvdReMake.

Yep... that does the trick. I don't know where to fix that from the camera... But I think it must be a bug in the firmware since it doesn't do that on all dvds. For example I have recoded 4 dvds and only 3 are damaged.
Anyway... your solution isn't a problem for me, I can always fix the broken dvds. Your help has been greatly appreciated, you can't believe how much I have tried to fix this problem!
Thank you so much!
