Audiotools 4.20 Interim 2 Beta Version Release Date: November 8th, 2002 Description: Audiotools is a direct-to-disk recording tool with the facility to automatically split a recording into tracks. It can split a recording into separate tracks, either by silence detection or under manual control. Any recordings which are already on your hard-disk can be automatically split or "auditioned" to manually split them. This is considerably faster than a graphical approach and can be happily left unattended in "auto-track" mode. Changes in Current Version: A "statistics" button has been added to the FileReport dialog An "Edit Tags" button has been added to the file report dialog to allow the user to edit ID3 tags in existing MP3 files The open / save dialogs displayed when selecting a source or destination file now have more meaningful captions When rewinding or fast-forwarding on playback of a file, the play button remained disabled and prevented the playback from being resumed.
