Hi guys , I just want to know , is there any ways to manually set the burning speed in the blind write 6 ? As I have some disk that must be copied and it will be used on some old VCD players ... Thanks .

Hi there, Once you insert the media in your drive, it will read the available speed, and you can select it, but the drop down list at the end of your drive description. Insert a media in the drive, you should see the speed selector activate.

thanks , once i put in my cd-r , blind write only give me the lowest speed of 16x , but 16x is too much for a 3 years+ old VCD players .... Is there anyways that i can choose the speed lower than it shows me ?

Hi there, Not really, your burner scans the media, and provides you the available burn descriptors off the media, then offers you those speeds. Your burner, and your firmware revision also makes a difference. I have 2 x NEC DVD Burners I have a few different brands of CD-R at home. Some offer me: 8x - 16x - 24x Others offer me: 8x - 16x If you have a older CD-R Burner, maybe it might offer you 2x - 4x - 8x My 2 cents...

Take a look and c if there is a firmware update available for ur burner jodern. If there is one, it mite help u with ur issue.
