Hi there everyone. Just purchased DvdRemake and ran into a brick wall straight away. I'm tryng to remove the intro warning from a dvd and lauch the dvd straight into the on screen menu. I've followed the instructions from Dimadsoft's website and everything seemed straight forward. 1. DVD decryptor - No problems (copied everthing in File mode to hard drive). 2- Opened up DvdRemaker and found and deleted the block from the Video Manager directory. It was the only block in that directory. Everthing else was left as the same. I saved the project and exported it to my Hard drive in another directory. Once finished I tried opening the new DVD (saved on hard drive) by clicking on the IDEO_TS.ifo and you geues it, nothing. Sad I can playback the .vob files the menu will not work. I'm sure it's something stupid I've overlooked, but I'm getting a bit frustrated as I've tried it 5 times already. thanks to anyone that can help Smile

Are there any buttons in the block you hide? Is "on screen menu" the next thing that appears after the block you are hiding? Do you need to push any button to get to it, or it appears "automaticaly" after some time?

? What do you mean by "opening the new DVD by clicking on the IDEO_TS.ifo"? Are you trying to import exported DVD back into DvdReMake? Or you want to play DVD? Is your system configured to start some software DVD player when you click on VIDEO_TS.IFO?

Using what player? If it plays just a vob file - of course menus will not work. Player just playes content of the vob file it knows nothing about the rest of the DVD.

There is no buttons in that block, just the warning and trailer. With the original DVD the movie will start playing automatically after all the warnings and trailer. You need to push the Menu button on the DVD software player to get the menu up. I would like to create a DVD that will launch straight into the menu and bypass the warning and trailer. if that is possible.

I should have said I tried opening the new created file. I would like to launch the exported dvd image from my hard drive without all the warning and intros, straight to the menu. I'm very new to this and am probably frustrating you with these silly questions.

To have WinDVD play directory in a "disk" mode just create a VIDEO_TS folder in the root of one of your HD disks (for example: D:/VIDEO_TS ). Copy/move/export edited dvd into this directory. Make sure that there is no disk in DVD drive and start WinDVD. It will find the VIDEO_TS dir and start playing disk in it.

It is possible. If you don't need trailer - it is very easy: just hide warning and trailer and menu will be the first thing you see playing exported dvd.
