Part way through burn process this error message appears: "Can't allocate the DIB handle" and burn fails. Resulting DVD generates Error Code 89030000 Unknown File Format. Any help?

Hello, You have found a known bug (that VSO is aware of) but we are not able to reproduce the problem and therefore have a hard time correcting it. We think it may have something to do the the memory space available on your computer. If you could, try creating the same slideshow as for settings (go to settings, then imaging) and then for the first to sliding scales, move then all the way to the left. This reduces the quality, but also means during compilation (where you are running into the error) less space is taken up on you computer to do this task. If it is able to finish compilation then this should be a space related issue, if the same error occurs then more tests need to be done to figure this out. These tests also would be more interesting if you could supply us with your computer type and configuration. If you want to be in direct contact with the VSO there are two ways to go about this: 1) contacting the VSO Support team via http://www.vso-software.fr/supportform.php?lang=en, selecting "technical support" and continue by downloading the support tool, and send in problem. or 2) PM me with your email address If you are willing to do a couple of tests with us (from your location of corse) and transmit you findings, VSO would be extremely pleased, this may permit us to correct this bug. sorry and thank you, Claire

VSO Software better understands this problem: "The "Can not locate the DIB Handle" bug appends on low memory computer. We have made some changes on the memory management in PhotoDVD (version 2.0.16) That should solve some problems (but probably not all...). So this should solve users problems. But buy more RAM could be a better solution for users. Thanks"

It's a known bug, submit a report and tone it down. Start here http://www.vso-software.fr/contactform.php Claire gave you two suggestions that you ignored, follow them. They have even offered to work with you to solve the problem.

Deleting the temp files I mentioned didn't seem to have much effect on this issue, but I put it in just in case before. It can be done or skipped, and can try it with or without.
