On my old computer, I created a show on Photodvd and play it using RealPlayer. I installed Photodvd and Realplayer on my new computer and Realplayer can't play the show. One difference I noticed was that on my old computer the show file, VTS_01_1, type extension was "Nero Showtime File." On my new computer, the VTS_01_1 file extension is VOB. Can anyone tell me why the RealPlayer on my new computer won't play my slide show?

Hi there, RealPlayer probably was able to play them, because on the 1st PC you had PowerDVD, or WinDVD, or the proper Codecs installed to play DVD .VOB files. Do you have such applications installed on PC #1 ? Now on PC #2, I own PowerDVD which installs the needed Codecs to view .VOB files, but I am not sure what is needed without those DVD Software Players. JJ do you know what Codecs he needs ?

Thanks for your reply. I just installed Nero Showtime, and I can now play the slide show. The file exetension on the VTS_01_1 file extension is now DVD movie. Is this because Showtime has a Codecs within the program?
