Hello, I have just tested DVDRemake Pro 3.0.3. I'm facing 2 big issues issues. First one : it is very slow ! I have a P4 2.26Ghz with 512Mb DDR which I think is "fair" and should run with no problem ! When I load a DVD (I mount an ISO image with Virtual Daemon") it is very difficult to edit the DVD ! Hard drive is always busy ! When I use the cursor to "move through a cell, I must wait some seconds to see the image ! Moreover, I have a lot of crashes ! I have deleted all the values related to Dimadsoft or DVDRemake in the Registry ! But I still get the errors ! What's going on ? I like this product but the slowness is very disappointing ! Scummi32

scummi32, a couple of questions. -- Does the disk you are editing have a lot of VTSs -- say 25 or more? -- Have you rebooted your system after having the crashes? Paul

Try to disable some options. Read here. Also, try to work in File mode rather than mounted iso image. I'm not sure why, but DRM handles better that way.

DRM needs access to different places on the disk to get all needed info. Especially when disk is just has been imported. Mounting tools are just an extra layer between DRM and OS and it slows things down. With players you may not see it as they access data almost sequentially and only little by little. In any case we are already looking into this and will try to further optimize data access.

Thanks Dimad for checking this. I'm having exactly the same problem. Hard disk keeps being very busy after importing the disc from a deamon tools virtual drive (haven't tried without image though)... But DRM 2.6.1 didn't have any trouble doin this ...

Although DRMP v3 may look similar to v2 it is a completly different program Smile We've done a major rework to implement new features (about 70% of its code is completely new). Some of these features are more "data demanding", but, as was said, we will try to see if it is possible to overcome this problem and will try to speed it up.
