| If it worked first fine then most probably nothing is wrong with software. Do all movies cause this? If yes - try reinstalling, if that does not help then try clearing all temp-folders and check your hd with scandisk, then defrag it. If not - what movies are causing this? What encoding is used, what is DivXtoDVD reporting in log?

Software errors occur mostly due problems with tempspace, memory or swapfile. This can usually be fixed by clearing temps and defragging. If this (and reinstalling software) is not helping, then check two things: use good antivirus and antispywareprograms to check your system. If all is clean then try removing your RAM, blowing dust out from socket and then plugging it back. Very often RAM gets a bit loose by itself, and this causes errors. Hope you get it fixed.

Interesting, since early versions I also have noticed this "error message" on both of my computers, also after a complete reinstall of W2k (including C formatting). This is not a virus or dustproblem, however for me the program always have worked without a hint!!!!!!!???????? Its fast with a quite acceptable quality for converting avimovies. And (at least for me) very good in keeping audio sync. zappit

| Well ... if conversion finishes okay and result is good then there is no need to worry. From jackmeths first posting I understood that he can't convert anymore. But - if he did not get that error first and later he gets it with same files and programversion - there is something changed. From that screenshot - error is about at frame 1200, quite beginning of movie. Might be nothing special.
