Hi all First time here - fresh member. Please be gentle..... Embarassed Right, this is what happens when I put my DVD in: I get a sekction screen with flags representing the languages. Then when you select the language you get the copyright warnign in that language and then you are taken to the main menu. When I imported the DVD (after DVD Decrypter) I saw the 'First Play' tab. I thought: "Aha! Brilliant I can make the DVD jump straight to the main menu" but no, anything I tried (and I am probably trying all the wrong things..) resulted in an unplayable DVD. this is the info under that tab: 1 R[1]=0 2 R[2]=70 3 R[9]=preferred_menu_language 4 Jump VMG Title 4 How do I make the DVD go directly to the main menu on insert bypassing the Language menu? Thnaks for any suggestions Cool

Hi hakamtzan and welcome to our forums! Very Happy Generally, changing commands at First Play to go straight to main menu does not always work as you see in your case. How 'bout just hide the language selection menu and the warning, it will skip these and go to main menu. Follow this guide to auto-select your language and hide the selection menu. Also, remember to read the Quick Start Guide section of the manual to get yourself more familiar with the product.

That was the first thing I tried.... It did not work... However, I will try your other suggestions. If worst comes to worst I will live with the language selection... it is not a big deal Wink

Just hiding doesn't work. You have to perform the command the pressed button will do somewhere in the commands.

I'm also new to this, so bear with me if this is a stupid question. When I put my DVD in: I get a screen with buttons representing the languages. Then when you select the language you get the copyright warning in that language and then you are taken to the main (root) menu. I followed the guide to auto-select the language and hide the selection menu. This doesn't work because there is no button for English and the movie begins to play as described below. Also tried changing commands at First Play to go straight to main (Root) menu. Despite using the same Post Command "Jump VTS 1 "root" menu (title 1)" contained in the Video Manager PGC's the movie jumps to VTS 1 Program Chains PGC1. Why does it not jump to VTS 1 Menu PGC 1 (Root Menu)? I tried to hide the language selection menu and the warning(s), where it should skip these and go to main menu and I get the same result - the movie jumps to VTS 1 Program Chains PGC1. Video Manager has only 5 PGC's one of which is the "Title Menu" There is only 1 Video Title Set with 6 PGC's (PGC1 is the root menu) under the menu section, and 3 PGC's under the Program Chains, if this helps. I've also done a screen capture of the project. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello HS and welcome to the forums! It's kind of hard to tell what's going on with this disc without having more information. Can you zip the IFO's and post them?
