| After writing to a blank CD-R in Windows XP I find I cannot "Continue Multisession" with Nero. If I start a new session with the disk written with XP, I cannot read the previously written XP files. If I continue a session with Nero, (and ignore the warning) I cannot add to the disk with XP. What settings should I have in Nero to add what was written with XP AND add more files afterward in XP? I'm new to using Nero. Never had a problem using Roxio/Adaptec. I have to be missing something... thanks! |

| If you are using the built in windows XP recorder, then it's probably incompatible with the Nero engine. That it does work with Easy CD Creator is more then logically, since Roxio was responsible for the built-in WinXP recording engine. |

| Thanks DiViDeZeRo for your reply. I am using Windows XP built in burning. I think you are right, Nero uses a different engine than does Roxio and there in lays the incompatability. I am under the belief that Windows XP's burning program is Roxio's engine, not Nero's. I do not have a problem using Roxio's multisession disks under Windows XP, only Nero's. |
