Hey as u can see the Topic. i got an SONY CD-RW CRX210E1 ( it's an 48x12x48 ) ,and i dunno what's happend but i can't burn on normal cd-r above x12 ,and i tried a lot of muchnfuter of cd-rs , and i did defrag..and still i dont know what the fucking problem... And it's on all of the burning programs suddley happend. and if i try to burn about x12 and i set it on x24 or x16 or x32 or x40 or x48 , like i use to do , the burning never start,i hear my cd-rw drive starting to spin and than stop agian and agian for hours... Anyone ... PLease HELP! asa_b@hotmail.com Sad

Sounds to me like ya drive is a it dodgy things u could try r:- making sure your writer is set to master and dma is enabled for the drive

i found out,that i got some problem with the ultra buffer.... like it's dosent fill up... what should i do

have u enabled dma mode for your writer?

Have you tried to use it also alone on the secondary IDE controller, especially if your mainboard has a slow controller than the controller can not keep up when there are 2 devices connected to it..... Also keep in mind that a BIOS update for you mainboard and using the last drivers for the chipset used on the board can help a lot. I use it with an EPoX 8K5A2N which has an ATA133 controller and it works fine with almost every CD.
