| Ok first off I am new to this copy dvd thing!(so please do not hammer me to hard!) I have had some problems with DivX to DVD. I have been able to copy about 5 movies and ran into problems with about 6 others. 1. Really slow! Takes about 2 hours to covert all movies is this normal? I have a 1.8ghz PC with 512 mb ram. 2. Movie will get to the end of converting and just stop. this is the error I get. (exception during conversion. output may not be available) 3. some movies only get about half way through and stop no error just stop. Any tips would be great! I love the software but I am getting really frustrated! thanks kjacks |

2 hours convert time slow? Not with that CPU And more RAM might also help, now your computer is struggling with swapping all the time. Those errors; can you repeat them? I mean, if you try same movie again, will you get same error at same point? If not, then most probably those errors are due memoryshortage or some other problem disturbing conversion. I have 1.5GB RAM and no problems, and my AMD64 3400+ converts movie in about half an hour to 45 minutes. |
